fake black

I was given the comment today of being a “fake black.” How does that work? Am I actually just a cockasian who “faked baked” till I got the color of an African American person? What exactly does a “fake black” mean? I think in the day that we live in, people get the wrong impression of who I really am, as a black person. Yes, I am proud to admit that I am black. I do believe that people think all black are searching after that “booty,” or looking for the “apple bottom jeans.” In all actual reality, what you see on television is not what all people are like. Rappers like 50 cent and Nelly, give all black people a bad name, and that's being serious. Rappers, esp black rappers embarrass me, not all, but most. Not all black people care for sex and such. Also, it's not just black people, but also orientals, whites, Hispanics, some are after sex, not all, but some. It happens in every race, not just blacks. I am not a “fake black.” I am someone who was raised in a community where people speak proper. I was raised believing that you should dress and act in a way that is pleasing towards yourself and your family. I was raised believing that cause I have an education, I should act like I do. I'm not gonna be all “ghetto” because of my color, because that's what is expected of me. I am who I am. If I act like a “fake black,” so be it. I know who I am, and being fake isn't apart of it.
